Grace - Dental Hygienist, RDH
Grace is an OG of Apple Springs Family Dentistry and has worked alongside Dr. Tay since 2017. After completing a dental assistant externship, she was hired and continued her education to earn her Dental Hygiene degree in 2019. She became Dr. Tay’s first Registered Dental Hygienist.
In her off time, she enjoys chasing after her two-year-old son and her 103-pound Labrador. She is also expecting her new daughter in August 2025!
Grace’s dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to our patients make her an invaluable member of our team. Her warmth and professionalism light up our practice every day.
Kelsey - Dental Hygienist, RDH
Kelsey is a dedicated dental hygienist with a passion for working with people!
When she’s not in the office, you’ll likely find her exploring new destinations with her camera in hand, capturing the world through her Nikon. A true adventurer at heart, Kelsey balances her love for travel and photography with cozy moments at home spent with her beloved cat, Letty.
Kelsey’s compassionate approach and attention to detail make her an invaluable member of our team, ensuring each patient feels comfortable and cared for. Her positive attitude and dedication to excellence consistently contribute to a welcoming and professional environment, inspiring those around her.
Gordon - Dental Hygienist, RDH
Gordon is your friendly neighborhood hygienist with a pharmacy background. His goal is to make dental visits a positive experience for each patient. Remember, it’s always a beautiful day to save smiles!
When he is not at work, he loves viewing sunsets, walks on the beach, starting new hobbies, and helping and serving others.
Gordon’s warmth, positive attitude, and genuine care make every patient feel at ease and valued—his dedication to creating a comfortable, uplifting experience truly brightens our team and your smile.
Nicci - Dental Hygienist, RDH
Nicci has been a devoted hygienist for 22 years and truly enjoys patient interactions. She takes a thorough and gentle approach to patient care, ensuring each patient is comfortable during their visit. Nicci is passionate about helping patients achieve their optimal oral health.
When not at work, Nicci enjoys spending time with her husband Dave, and two teenagers, Jacob and Olivia. She also enjoys traveling with family, participating in her Bible study group, and donating her time to the community and church.

Emily - Dental Assistant, RDA
Emily is a caring dental assistant with 10 years of experience! She is dedicated to making our patients feel comfortable and cared for. She’s skilled at using modern dental technology and ensuring dental procedures run smoothly.
Outside of work, Emily is a proud parent who loves spending time with her kids, whether it’s on outdoor adventures, playing games, or cheering them on at sports. Her warmth and dedication shine both in the office and at home.

Andrea - Dental Assistant, RDA
Andrea has been a dental assistant since 2019. She is highly skilled and compassionate. She’s certified in radiography and CPR and specializes in assisting with dental implant placement and restoration. Passionate about helping patients feel confident and comfortable—whether it’s relieving pain or restoring a smile—her calm, friendly demeanor creates a welcoming environment for all.
When she’s not at work, you’ll find her lost in a good book, playing her favorite video game, or spending quality time with her fiancé and son.

Karen - Office Manager
Karen began her career in dentistry in 2004. She has been with Apple Springs Family Dentistry since 2021 and is often one of the first smiling faces you’ll see when visiting the practice. She appreciates Dr. Tay’s approach to conservative dentistry and believes that a positive dental experience can truly change someone’s life. She’s passionate about helping patients understand their treatment options and making the most of their insurance benefits to fit their individual needs.
When she’s not in the office, she enjoys running races, reading, or spending time with her husband Jay and their dog Frankie.

Amanda - Treatment Coordinator
Amanda, a Texas native, began her dental career in 2017. She enjoys building personal connections with patients and helping them understand their treatment options. In her free time, she loves playing with her dog Ruby and spending time with her two sons.
Amanda’s caring nature and ability to make connections brighten every patient’s experience. Her dedication and warmth will make you feel like you are family every time you visit.
Taylor - Artist & Social Media Model
Taylor is the youngest member of our team and Dr. Tay’s daughter. She is a skilled artist and serves as the office’s social media model.
She enjoys creating the artwork displayed in our waiting room, so be sure to check out her latest masterpieces the next time you visit our dental practice.
When she’s not working on her art, Taylor attends elementary school and spends her free time participating in various activities such as ice skating, piano, and gymnastics.
Taylor’s creativity, dedication to her artwork, and bright spirit inspire us all! Her artwork adds a warm, welcoming touch and family atmosphere to our office decor, helping you to feel more at home during each visit.
Dr. Tay - Doctor of Dental Surgery, DDS
Dr. Patrick Tay, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, has lived across the U.S., including Michigan, Tennessee, Ohio, and North Carolina.
Before moving to Leander, Texas, to open Apple Springs Family Dentistry, he gained experience working with various dental offices. A caring family dentist, he strives to build long-term relationships with patients and provide personalized, quality care without unnecessary treatments.
His calm, thoughtful manner and dedication to continuing education, including innovative oral treatments like Bioclear, ensure you receive the best care.
